Here's the 33rd and last spotlighting of our collaborative adaptations of the#SabinCenterForClimateChangeLaw #SolutionsDenial debunkings.

Originally published as a monolithic document, these 33 corrections of industry-promoted mythology are now also available as individual chunks-- more easily accessible for helping clear fog from intentionally confused minds.

Sabin's Jacob Elkin and Matthew Eisenson authored these deeply researched rebuttals and deserve hearty appreciation for their work. They continue to update and maintain the collection, and we are tracking those improvements in our adaptations. If you have a productive suggestion, make a comment here or (better) in the article comments thread.

Rebutting 33 False Claims About Solar, Wind, and Electric Vehicles thanks to the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law

Earlier this year our volunteer editor Marc Kodack spotted an impressive answer to climate change solutions denial, 'Rebutting 33 False Claims About Solar, Wind, and Electric Vehicles,' which he included in our weekly climate research survey. Written by Matthew Eisenson, Jacob Elkin, Andy Fitch, Matthew Ard, Kaya Sittinger & Samuel Lavine and published by the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School,  this was obviously a very useful and timely resource. So, we also shared it widely on social mediaβ€” where we soon noticed a theme in comments: 'Neat report - but it being a single PDF makes it impossible to link to each of the rebuttals directly.'

Skeptical Science

Several years ago, members from our team spent a lot of time to help train an AI tool called #cards

So, it's cool to see CARDS put to good use and bearing fruit as the underlying tool utilized to create @CCDHate's report about "The New Climate Denial"!

Favorite pull quote: β€œThere is no relationship between hurricane activity and the surface temperature of the planet." Take a moment to fully unpack, savor that. πŸ™‚

CCDH Report: The New Climate Denial

On January 16, 20224, The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) published the report 'The New Climate Denial'. The report and underlying study centers on data analysis performed by an AI tool, CARDS, developed by academics Travis G. Coan, Constantine Boussalis, John Cook and Mirjam O. Nanko. As some of you may remember, the initial training for CARDS was conducted by members from our Skeptical Science team, so it's cool to see it put to good use now! Read CCDH's press release below followed by a selection of other articles mentioning the CCDH report, some of which include quotes by John Cook.
