Three days before my parents visit our new Norfolk home for the first time - plenty of housework to do...
What I'll be rewarding myself with... #knitting #sockknitters

Lion Brand Superwash Merino (labeled as a DK (3) weight when it's clearly a sport (2) weight) is not good for socks. At least not if you want socks that last.
I used to work at the Studio and got a lot of this yarn for free/reduced prices.
Everything I have ever made with this yarn (including a scarf) has a hole in it now (less than a decade).
Not in the normal wear and tear places either. One sock has a random hole in the leg where the yarn just broke. Just found a new hole in another pair in the cast on (a pair I don't even wear often). The scarf has a hole where the yarn just broke. It's not frayed or wearing thin around the hole. The rest of the scarf looks the same as the day I bound off.
