Dear kids, we millennials grew up on the internet when there were no social media sites. We had plenty of ways to connect, share thoughts and support each other. Boomers hardly know nothing about the Internet outside their filter bubbles on their shitty social networks. So just ask us how we did, if your government decides to fuck around instead of taking care of your needs properly.

A few have asked today so I'm just going to state it here, the #UK #socialmediaban for children will solve exactly jack shit. And it's not because they will find a way, it's not even about the kids, it's only about two things.

1/ the government are removing a way for people to communicate.

2/ the social media companies get to avoid any responsibility for promoting the massive far right push globally.
