Some Australian #Epipaschiinae have bulges in the forewing costa, along with messy scale tufts in the same area, but I'd expect scales to dampen any potential auditory effects. I always took it that structures like these are for spreading pheromones.

I just want to power a thing Iā€™m designing with 5V from a USB plug or a LiPO battery, and to charge the battery if the USB is plugged in. Now well down a huuuuuuge rabbit hole of data sheets and YouTube vids: Buck/boost converters, charge controllers, LDO regulators, and on and on. Surely this is a standard thing with a standard solution? Any pointers appreciated and welcomed. #electronics #maker #MakerProblems #SoMuchToLearn šŸ˜‚
