Mówi się, że szwajcarski scyzoryk może wszystko. Wyposażony w nóż, śrubokręt, otwieracz, korkociąg, pilnik, nożyczki, wykałaczkę i wiele innych mniej lub bardziej nietypowych narzędzi charakterystyczny scyzoryk zna chyba każdy. Nie każdy zna jednak dosyć skomplikowaną historię szwajcarskiego noża oficerskiego, bo taka faktycznie jest jego nazywa.
