A woman I attended jr high & high school with, who was addicted to #suntanning for decades was been diagnosed with stage 3 #SkinCancer recently. We all tried to warn her for a long time. She refused to listen. Now, the hard consequences have come.

It's super dangerous to wear almost no protection & keep suntanning. Some folks never learn until it's too late & they're hospitalized with skin #cancer.

Being unconvinced that #Strataderm, or even it's competitor on the shelf, offered value for money, I got them to order in 20g of a silicone scar gel that'll cost about the same as a 10g tube of their cheaper on-shelf gel ~AUD25.

Which, with the clinic recommending 60 to 90 days of application, seems worth the extra trouble.
