“Doin’ the omoralisk schlagerfestival” (“Doin’ the immoral Schlager Festival”) is a song from 1975 written by Ulf Dageby (a member of the leftist rock orchestra and theater ensemble Nationalteatern) under the pseudonym Sillstryparn (The Herring Strangler).

The song was created as a result of Sweden in 1975 arranging the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. This event was considered by the prog music movement to be a commercial jippo and as a counter-reaction, the Alternative Festival was organized where several artists criticized the competition. One of these artists was Sillstryparn (The Herring Strangler), a kind of Gothenburg cabaret figure played by Ulf Dageby. The song together with other left-wing protests contributed to Sweden canceling its participation in Eurovision 1976.
