Sad to hear #SharonFarrell has passed. The versatile American actor appeared in dozens of TV shows in the 1960s and 70s, including as the grieving widow in memorable #Kolchak episode 'Chopper' (1975). Particularly strong on film as traumatised, fracturing mothers in Larry Cohen's 1974 #ItsAlive (pictured), #ThePremonition (1976) and the doomed addict Kathy in Dennis Hooper's #OutOfTheBlue (1980).

2️⃣ It’s cheesy and melodramatic, but it’s basically a good story with Hooker and the bad guys looking for a terrified young runaway who saw something she shouldn’t.

3️⃣ The focus is on the seedier side of city life, there’s an impressive foot chase at the end, the music is great, and the humourous b-story is worth a chuckle or three.
