A charity in the UK is training dogs to identify diseases by scent from urine samples earlier than otherwise possible by medical testing.

Medical Detection Dogs has successfully trained dogs to identify Parkinson’s disease, pseudomonas, COVID-19, Addison’s disease, prostate cancer, and heart conditions like postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Bowel cancer is a recent addition, and they're in the last stages of testing to be certain the dogs can correctly identify it.

I went to my local conbini to get a coffee this morning.

The cashier asked me what country I'm from. I replied, then asked him the same.

Then instead of scanning my app for payment, he opened his change purse, dropped a coin into the register, and told me he's buying it for me. 😀
