@joebeone There’s a part of me that thinks the dividing line for culpability (leaving aside freedom of expression for the moment) needs to be between data in transit and data at rest. Organizations shouldn’t be held liable for being a carrier/transit, but should for storing/presenting. Of course this may just be a barely-caffeinated call to tear down the platforms and go back to taking technical and legal responsibility for hosting our own stuff. #SaturdayMorningThoughts #ShakesFistAtClouds
