I’ve wanted to make a new sewing needle book for a while because it’s one of my favorite ways to keep them organized and handy.
I cut out 4 rectangles from a worn out, stained flannel nightshirt using my pinking shears. I didn’t worry about accuracy (aside from stripe matching) because of the pink stains.
I sewed them together down the center line. Now to organize my needles and make a cover!
On the quilted placemats and trivet, I can see the difference between the ones done with and without the walking foot.
