I remember the #Seshan era. I was a schoolboy then. The election campaign were a breath of fresh air. No posters, no Loudspeakers...
Politicians soon had their revenge. They split the EC's post and power and gave them to 3 people and ensured the in future no single person could impact their future.
The same formula was used to weaken other institutions too.

T N Seshan, the seasoned bureaucrat who reformed the Election Commission of India during his six-year tenure, passed away here on Sunday night. He was 86.

The MAN who gifted an enormous respect to the CHAIR of #Chief_Election_Commissioner by his towering presence,
