If you think about changing instances: in the @fedilab app, you can follow any instance, so you can stalk if that's a good instance for you.

Click a users profile, click the 3dots on the top right and click Follow Instance

Hey peeps, I just moved to a new server... still the same ol' me.

So, I've just "finished" migrating from home.social to mastodon.social, now that Home is shutting down. And I've got to say, it was extremely, extremely painful. (And I haven't even moved posts over yet.)

But it's 2023. Forwarding your account doesn't even move the accounts you're following over. Apparently my old follow*ers* are being redirected, but having to go through rebuilding the list of folks I follow, effectively by hand? WHAT?
