Choroidal melanoma
Choroidal melanoma can cause serous retinal detachment due to fluid leakage from the tumor or associated vascular abnormalities. Fundus examination typically reveals a dome-shaped or mushroom-shaped lesion with overlying retinal elevation. In selected cases, brachytherapy is used to preserve some vision and avoid more invasive, vision-threatening surgical procedures. #ChoroidalMelanoma #SerousRetinalDetachment #Brachytherapy #OcularOncology…
