The retired admissions officer, James Nolan, says he got a call on Trump’s behalf from Fred Trump Jr., Donald Trump’s older brother, who also happened to be a close friend of Nolan’s.
#Trump has largely done the same, claiming his father only gave him a “very small loan” that he turned “into a company that’s worth many, many billions of dollars.” However, as #KamalaHarris noted during Tuesday’s #debate, Trump’s companies have filed for #Chapter11 #bankruptcy protection SEVEN TIMES.

According to the Washington Post, Trump benefited from trusts set up for family members as well as loans from his father & his father’s estate. The NYT said it found Trump & his father avoided gift & inheritance #taxes by using a #sham corporation & undervaluing assets.
