I know the timeframe is too soon to have #LowerDecks perform a #SecondContact followup visit, but I would love for that series to feature some aspect of that storyline. Why can’t #MirastaYale (#CarolynSeymour) find herself on the Cerritos? And we need to see #Lanel (#BebeNeuwirth) again, somehow.

This image shows two views of the same scene shown in the most recent Lower Decks episode CAVE, and in the series premier, Second Contact.

Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tendi are all in the same place...but not quite. The spacing between the heads and bodies of the various characters is slightly different. People in the background are still the same, but again, in slightly different locations. It’s as if the producers redrew the scene to appear that it was from a slightly different camera angle.
