Black Forest Fire were a band from Austin active 2010-2012. One album. I came across this tune and fell in love. So I ordered the album. Should be here this weekend.
@j now that I’m engaging more with this platform, I’m thinking of restarting #saturgaze. So, yes! Post! Always need more stuff to lose my shit over. Like, here’s one: Black Forest Fire. Short lived, one album, but oh! what an album.
I dropped off #saturgaze for a bit, but here’s a choice cut for you. Blind Mr Jones were a short lived English band in the early 90s. I just recently came across the and am in love! This song has all that I love about #shoegaze: it has noise, is a bit poppy, and a bit meloncholy.
