My #satsuma tree died. It couldn’t handle the intense cold and snow it had to deal with a couple of months ago. #nature

Failing miserably to live up to its name as a "Sweet and Juicy, Easy Peeler"

It came apart in about fifty tiny bits, and was cheek-clenchingly bitter and twisted!

🗺️🍊➿ Like Pangaea, but in my #kitchen. Like a whole globe in my palm.

Break from late-night #WorkFromHome research & studio-time (1 of my fave things) : time for #snacks & marvelling at wonders of #Nature I get to experience, even w/out leaving my apt 😍🥳🙏🏽

Good morning from #Pasadena. #Christmas is almost upon us and with it comes the season for many #Citrus fruit to mature & ripen.

#Satsuma oranges 🍊 are one of the early winter fruit in our garden. Pomelos generally take significantly longer to reach maturity, usually at least a month if not two.

Our satsumas are a little more sour and harder than most year at this time but still enjoyable (to me, anyway).

But since I am watching my glucose closely, I won’t be gorging myself on them like I did previous years. But I do plan on making room for at least several over their season which spans many weeks. However, I will have to give many if not most away I am certain, especially if they remain tart because my husband only likes them very sweet. Time will tell.

Another beautiful day today with a high of 23°C (73°F). Plans for today are putting up some Christmas decorations most likely, so a break from DIY.
