#SandwichSaturdays starting strong over here. So far, there have been two sets of pictures of miniatures which have been very skillfully painted and a personal friend showed off a nice thing he did for his co-workers who participated in last month's #AdventOfCode. It's #SandwichSaturday, so I figured I'd relate a little bit about why http://www.sandwich.net was and continues to be my real home on the Internet.

In The Year 2000 I was into anime and fanfic, because I was 18 and that was the style at the time. I discovered Improfanfic, a round-robin fanfic writing community, and the associated IRC server - both hosted on Sandwich.net. Eventually my primary email address moved there. Then my webspace (RIP Angelfire).
