"Sudbury is holding its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Event on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Sudbury DPW Building located at 275 Old Lancaster Rd. Sudbury."

Batteries need to be packed separately. They will be off loaded at a separate station from Hazardous Waste.

I bet the disposal box was 1/ not emptied regularly 2/ broken for a while.

THIS IS BY DESIGN... to justify removing disposal boxes.

Had a look online to see what to do with thoroughly water & mold damaged books basics, probably more mold than book.

Loads of sites banging on about donating & paper recycling but I'm not sure a large collection of (borderline) biohazard would be welcome at either.

No advice on what I'm dealing with so wondering if anyone on here has any advice. Bare in mind I don't really have the time or energy to manually separate anything as there's too many for one person to deal with?
