Had a look online to see what to do with thoroughly water & mold damaged books basics, probably more mold than book.

Loads of sites banging on about donating & paper recycling but I'm not sure a large collection of (borderline) biohazard would be welcome at either.

No advice on what I'm dealing with so wondering if anyone on here has any advice. Bare in mind I don't really have the time or energy to manually separate anything as there's too many for one person to deal with?

EDIT: This in the UK

Thanks for reading.

Right then. Guess it's bag it as carefully as possible & dump them in general waste.

We're gonna need a bigger wheelie bin.

@Soldusty
I agree that donating is an awful idea! Are you able to at least spread them out to get some air flow? I suspect the answer really is that you need to manually separate pages and assess what’s salvageable. 😕 Best of luck

@CasualPiDay
Thanks for the reply/comment.
Alas no, as there's too many for me to deal with, as mentioned in my OP.

Even if I did I don't have the space or the safety equipment needed do deal with the dust, spores & whatever else would come off them.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

@Soldusty
Phooey. I didn’t figure I was being very helpful, but thought I’d ask 🤷‍♀️
