Should have posted this a week ago, on the 7th anniversary of my Saddle Mountain hike: The entire hike completely alone in the dense fog, marvelling at the extreme lushness, first through old growth rainforest and higher up beautiful wild flowers everywhere you look... Who needs a view when you've got a garden! :) A true #SilentSunday experience and one of my fave (& true-to-form) PNW hikes! Best part: Half an hour later, amazing fish chowder in Cannon Beach, whilst enjoying the sunset over the Pacific...
