i've never lived in silicon valley but my career never would have been the same without the things that came out of there. i ran a bunch of facebook pages and blogs for a PR firm as my first grownup job, then i did wordpress sites, then i did social media 2014-2020, then i went toward industrial automation. in many ways my ability to participate WITHOUT being there is wholly due to social media and virtual stuff. is tech perfect? no. is all of that what i wanted to be doing? yes. #SVBbailout
