Meanwhile in Trump's other favorite illiberal democracy, Hungary just passed legislation attacking the LGBTQ+ community.
"The amendments will enable bans on public LGBTQ+ gatherings...PM Orban vowed in March that an "Easter cleanup" of his critics was coming...The amendments also enable the government to temporarily suspend citizenship of any Hungarian dual nationals who are deemed a threat to the country's security or sovereignty."
Meanwhile, in the MAGA fantasy world where civil liberties & the Constitution apparently don't exist...the clip comes after Trump's cronies were earlier laughing at his suggestion to Pres. Bukele that he needs to build 5 more torture prisons to hold Americans Trump wants to send him.
Think about that for a moment. Top US politicians & the "world's coolest dictator" laughing about destroying the Constitution & US democracy.

These are the sort of escalations we need to closely watch. Seems like a clear test of how the public responds to posse comitatus type powers.
Trump announced a plan Friday (4/4) to turn a 60 ft strip along the MX border in CA, AZ & NM into a military installation and transfer authority over the federal border land to Defense Dept... Military patrolling there could then detain migrants for trespassing on a military reservation.
