TIL the elvis operator supports not defining any value when the condition matches in GCC and CLANG, but that's not part of the standard and it's not portable, so don't expect it to work in MSVC.

int b = 1 ?: 3; // same as "1 ? 1: 3"

#clang #gcc #stdc

How are PRI macros from inttypes.h supporsed to work for long long int and long long unsigned int where WORDSIZE is 64 bit but the actual size of the type strongly differs between windows and linux 64bit systems?

#c #stdc

@ai6yr Just did a quick scan of my #Inmarsat #STDC #marine feed and cant see anything in the current batch of live messages.
Im always looking for a better way to filter and display those messages. Their formatting is a real mess.

"But documents seen by the Eye through an inspection of accounts under local government audit laws prove this is nonsense. Contrary to Houchen's claim, Teesworks Ltd hasn't borrowed the money and has no obligation to make the repayment."

Private Eye | VAT dodging : Improper channels

HUMBLE businessman Richard Allen saved taxpayers billions of pounds when he spotted a Channel Islands export-import scam being used by major retailers to avoid VAT.

Adding a #sqlite database to the #inmarsat #STDC page along with a search option for the past month.
No sooner than I add it than someone searches for 'Kabul' on a marine broadcast satcom page? SMH.
I am beyond happy with the latest version of #satdump
The UDP streaming of JASON decoded messages was the spark that caused me to dive in but I have to say, the rock solid decoding has won me over.
I am able to run lower gain and smaller antennas with lower spec'ed CPU and still get more messages that any other #inmarsat #STDC decoder that I have used to date.
(Of course, I have not downgraded any of the RF signal path, but its nice to know I could!).

My bio photo? Yes.
Since my main interest is ADSC and satcom ACARS I have the primary dish at the back for 98w and the second test dish at the front for 54w and 98w testing. Only the primary dish has tracking motors to keep on the geostationary satellite.
The smaller 98w L-Band dish is not in this photo, its on the other side of the house. The 54w L-Band patch antenna is on the roof of the house.
The #Inmarsat #STDC feeds are scattered around.
Possible NK missile launch.
Came in via #Inmarsat #STDC
There was an ELT (usually #aviation use) alert put out a short time ago.
Our #Inmarsat #STDC page brought it to our attention, looking into it, but I spend more time in code than tracking stuff, so my skills are rusty.
