My talk @ #39c3 will be about a very interesting issue that happens when CPUs with hardware bugs are used in cloud environments. We'll exploit it to leak data from an unsuspecting virtual machine, without leaving a trace.
Our findings were deemed so severe by #Google that they awarded our report with a $151,515 bug bounty, their highest bounty yet.

I gave the talk anonymously at #WHY2025 this summer. It could not be recorded back then, because it was still exploitable at the time, and our #SP26 paper was still under blind review.

The issue has now been "fixed", so the talk will be streamed and be recorded! I've tweaked it a bit so it includes some of the updates since August.

Hope to see you at one of the closing talks of Day 3, 00:15 in Saal Zero!
