Socks! My first pair ever, just in time for summer. It has been very educational.
- Apparently knitting in the back loop instead of in the front loop makes a big difference. Who knew? (Everybody who knits, probably). Sock nr. 1 ( back loops) sort of spirals around my foot, making the toe part a bit weird. Sock nr. 2 ( front loops) is much straighter, but looser. Same amount of stitches, but bigger sock. I prefer the fit of nr 1, but the non-spiralness of nr 2.
- Wrapping the yarn around my little finger makes knitting in my weird way* more comfortable.
- Pulling yarn from the centre of the ball means i dont have to chase after it every five minutes.
Anyway. Onwards to pair nr two!
*I watched a video with about 10 knitting styles, but mine wasn't in it.
It's Sock Sunday. This week features panicking Wah's.
