It's a really fun game if you haven't played it. It really gives me those Ace Combat 04 vibes. I loved that game so much. Played it completely like four times and I would literally do it again right now. Sky Rogue is much more arcadey but it's got decent action and serviceable controls.

I ordered three gamepads/controllers:
1. A Logitech F310
This is a PS2/3-style controller with two analog sticks. As a longtime playstation fan it feels comfier than X-Box style controllers, it seems sturdy and after a quick round of #SkyRogue it plays well, was immediately recognized by my linux, etc.
(I'm kinda doubtful of the longterm stability of the D-Pad, but we'll see.)
