half/byteHm, looks like my SIDStation has a broken SID, operating voltage way too low but okay if I remove the chip (suggesting a faulty SID, I guess).
I'll try one of the modern replacements, but this is a bummer, especially since this particular unit has such cool history.
I guess trying to find an actual SID is more or less pointless by now.
