As many as half of all the votes reported for Vladimir Putin in Russia’s presidential election last week were fraudulent, according to Russian independent media reports using a statistical method devised by analyst Sergey Shpilkin to estimate the extent of voter manipulation.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Pope Francis, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing, President of Honduras Xiomara Castro, Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian and former Bolivian president Evo Morales also joined in the congratulations.
