Steam has officially crossed from “ethically questionable corporation” into full “nothing happened in Moscow, citizen” territory after promoting a LAN party in the capital of a terrorist state during an active war.
I kept postponing this for years because of the library, mods, friends list, sunk cost, digital Stockholm syndrome — you know the drill. But apparently the line for Valve is somewhere far below the Earth’s mantle.
So yes. Time to migrate to GOG.com — the Polish DRM-free platform that at least still pretends Europe remembers what “values” are supposed to mean.

An avalanche of positive #Russian characters all across #Netflix and other American platforms suspiciously coincide with the last year’s change in power in US. At the same time, four years into the big war, Ukrainians are featured as secondary primitive characters if at all.
Is the sudden surge in media aimed at subtly and insidiously rehabilitating russia's image a coincidence?
I think not.
