➤It took a few attempts and a little luck but I managed to defeat the boss.
➤I picked a mage and with double gnawed bone I massively increase my max health. Also had the relic to deflect 10% to your mana.
➤Boss has two forms (light and dark) and as they get lower they swap between them freely. Two sets of attacks. Great fight!
➤Lots of [?] in the credits for enemies I didn't encounter. Seems I died to the bosses less than I thought.
➤'Threads' for new game plus. You get to pick the downsides.
➤Finished at level 148 in about 20 hours.
➤So many things I didn't unlock, you could probably grind this game for a long time.
➤Great sequel, they really expanded so much of the original. Larger world and harder bosses, but you don't need to refight them every run. More systems for progression even if they didn't solve the core problem of gold grinding.

➤Hey, I beat the eyeball boss! I liked the third eye opening up midway through.
➤The secret? I picked a tiny character. Much easier to dodge all the spam.
➤The dried lake area is very tough. They don't reduce your visibility much with the darkness, but I keep getting hit from something offscreen.
➤Boss 6 wasn't too bad. It took a few tries, but I feel this was a 'regular' boss fight if that makes sense.
➤Fighting the traitor was a very fair fight. Attacks are well telegraphed and plenty of room to move.
➤I gave a couple of attempts at the king. Huge bombastic attacks that killed me real quick. They don't seem unreasonable, but I wonder if there will be a second form.
➤Back with the same problem - grind or just try to beat the king with my current progress?
➤Astronomer sucks. Slow attack that barely tickles anything in the black hole. It might be because I focus on strength more than intelligence, but most enemies are too mobile to stay in the damage zone.

➤I finally beat the fourth boss after being stuck for a while. The pattern wasn't too hard, I just kept making bad decisions.
➤I had a couple of high money runs. One pulled in 50K gold.
➤I ran out of iron for buying equipment. Now I can't use the new stuff I found.
➤Wow, fifth boss is real hard. It's two eyeballs, one on each side of the space. It's very cramped. There's only two places you can stand. They love to shoot homing shots.
➤Obviously I didn't do well since I don't know the patterns, but I have to ask myself with this game - am I understatted?
➤Things are getting a little tedious. Exploring areas for the tenth time just for gold is getting old. But I need the money for upgrades.
➤I unlocked a bunch of new classes. Gunslinger is neat. So many bullets!
➤There's some sidequests for each area about finding a secret area. I could swear I found the solution to the gatehouse, but it hasn't finished. Maybe because I found it before getting the quest?

➤The different weapons for the classes really have helped make them feel different.
➤Sometimes you can find a weapon, talent, or spell to swap with. You get bonus stats for swapping.
➤Crow Storm feels wayyyyy op. After a short channel you can fly indefinitely (slowly) and shoot homing projectiles within a certain radius of you. I managed to beat the second and third bosses in the same run. And it makes exploration way easier. I think I almost could have sequence breaked with it. I saw an easter egg with it!
➤I was underlevelled for the third boss too
➤Upgrading has been slow. I've mostly been trying to complete the quests instead of just farming gold. I worry this may impact my access to equipment/runes.
➤These fairy chest challenges are real difficult. I feel like you should get more attempts (at a cost?) since you could just lock the castle layout and keep rerolling characters as far as I know.

I started playing Rogue Legacy 2!
➤It's been over ten years since I played the original.
➤I don't want to make assumptions since there seems to be a lot of changes in the formula.
➤The gain gold, buy upgrades, do another run loop still seems to be here. The cost of all upgrades goes up with each purchase.
➤The levels feel larger. Its seems like you need to find some permanent upgrades in each area to progress.
➤Not sure how I feel about this spin jump, but it's fine I guess
➤Healing was rather rare in the first game. I've already notices some fruit trees that let you choose between taking damage for more max health or healing. Nice!
➤You only need to beat bosses once? They feel way more difficult and there must be six to beat.
➤There's new classes to play as and it looks like the reworked the existing ones for more differences in playstyle.
➤I don't understand the XP. Is there a limit on how much you can gain at once?
➤Game saves automatically, quit anytime.
