Severance gets better every episode.

S2:E7, directed by the show's cinematographer, Jessica Lee Gagné, may be the best episode of the entire series, in every way.

So far.

I'm not sure how the production team convinced Apple to let them make the show they wanted to make, but it's the best thing AppleTV has done, and it's not even close.
