Such a stink, where half of #London's dirty doings pass through. And in the foreground, #Beckton #Sewage Treatment Works!

I love #exploring #London - even the #smelly bits!

“Anyway, you walk wrong for #rain.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“You go all hunched up, you fight it, that's not the way. You should— well, move between the drops.” And, indeed, Granny seemed to be merely damp.

Whilst #PrideMonth has ended, the #Barking Buttplug* is still lit up like a rainbow (#Polysexual is the flag it most resembles). It's firmly-placed, not far from Beckton Treatment works, and so, so long you could stick it right up your… creek.

Inspiring! People like #PaulPowlesland give me hope. It's amazing what Barrister with a sledgehammer can do. His backstory too, from Cambridge educated Tory to off grid guerilla barrister saving the #RiverRoding from the neglect and vandalism of councils, developers and #ThamesWater which refused to monitor is own sewage discharges. So Paul does it instead.

And he lives on a boat, on the river he loves.😃
