I missed out doing an #art boat cruise last year so looking at options this year.
I'm not a fan of fireworks (so pass on #riverfire) and don't really understand why it can't be more a lightshow like Vivid was in Sydney. Totally spectacular without the noise pollution and terrifying or killing animals.

Air attack (basically airborne Air Traffic Control) has just left the #RiverFire so the airshow is over, but what a valiant effort it was. At least two large tankers out of Boise, plus a C130 out of Utah. 4-6 single engine tankers and a flock of helicopters.
Based solely on tanker runs and tea leaves, this is *my* rough estimated fire perimeter as of sunset.
I'm not at home and don't have my laptop, so it's pretty rough... I'm guessing 4k-ish acres. #IdahoFire
