Yesterday, Durham County libraries were told to remove their Pride Month displays.

Employees have been told this is a temporary measure while leadership figures out how exactly to remain in compliance with pro-censorship executive orders.

Durham Library Workers United stands with us and has asked that this be overturned. (Full text, not just screenshot, is in the post.)

According to an update from Nida Allam, Durham Board of County Commissioner, the Durham Board of County Commissioners has not adopted this policy. She is working to rescind the restrictions and restore the displays.
