Why can't humans aestivate? I'm sure biology...physiology...some ology or other can explain it, but I'm going to go ahead and blame #Capitalism.
OK, I'm going to be honest: I love the dark and am a bit sad at solstice time. I am happiest when it dark/rainy/snowy.
It's an actual condition, reverse SAD, and I'm a walking example. Luckily I live somewhere that's dark and rainy most of the year but man...those long Alaska sunny summers can really get to me!
So yes, welcome sun today, but in small doses please!
