Since modern #RetroGamingHandhelds are essentially small #Linux machines, I can set #Mednafen to take screenshots and put them in a folder that gets synced to a big PC. Neat!

Specifically, with #ROCKNIX on #RGCubeXX, I changed mednafen.cfg:

```
command.take_snapshot joystick 0x4ed02f893c2a5ffb0004001100000000 button_10 && joystick 0x4ed02f893c2a5ffb0004001100000000 button_1
filesys.path_snap /storage/roms/screenshots/
```

button_10 + button_1 = M + A, same as with Duckstation.

I was gifted $250 for my birthday last month and it has been ‘burning a hole in my pocket’ as they say. I considered getting a lot of different things; a new tablet, or a 2-in-1 laptop, or a mini-PC, but I couldn’t really get any of those that are decent at gaming for just $250.

After all that, I started to consider #RetroGamingHandhelds again. I got the BatleXP G350 a couple months ago, which is very nice for a $35 device, but I would like something more premium.

I have my Galaxy S10 5G and the Abxylute S9 telescopic controller which offers a big OLED display and great ergonomics, but I yearn for something more powerful and portable.

I almost bought the #Retroid Pocket Flip 2 but it would’ve been hard to return if I didn’t like it, and from what I read about it, that was a very possible outcome.

So instead, I decided to get the #RetroidPocketMini V2 from Amazon as it is just $10 more expensive than it is from Retroid and it’s easily returnable!
