On Monday I took myself down to London to join a happy band of bloggers, readers and authors who were attending the Books and the City showcase event. It was my first attendance at one of their events but hopefully it won't be the last. Next time though I'll remember that walking from Trafalgar Square to Gray's Inn Road is a lot further than it looked on the map.
