#ResistiveSwitching is getting more and more attention as non-volatile #memory technology. In this work @jovana_v_milic and colleagues demonstrate how 2D hybrid #perovskite can show reliable resistive switching and synaptic behavior, with a transformation from #digital to #analog depending on the #halide anion.

In the #cover we represented resistive switching as brain-inspired computing technology for memory applications. Highlighting the ability of these devices to change the nature of the resistive switch depending on the composition. From a digital behavior, symbolized by the binary code circuitry, to an analog behavior, represented as synapse-shaped circuitry.

Thanks Jovana for a once again extremely interesting collaboration!

It's always special to collaborate with my previous institute Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin! In this very interesting work Catherine Dubourdieu and Rong Wu report electrochemical metallization #ResistiveSwitching in polycrystalline YMnO3-based #memristive devices using Al as an active electrode. In the #cover we represented the filament formation, which happens at the grain boundaries between two different phases of YMnO3, following the migration of Al3+ cations from the electrode.
