Farooq | فاروق [Master Patata]Quran speaks very highly of the #Prophet #Abraham and it talks about him several times. Not sure maybe Abraham has record of the most frequent mentions in #Quran Here in The Cow 2:258 is one story about Abraham:
Are you aware about the one who argued with Abraham about his lord? Because God granted him kingship. Abraham said "My lord is the one who causes life and death." He replied "I give life and death". Abraham said "Indeed God brings the sun out from the east. You bring it out from the west. So the one who disbelieved became dumbstruck. And God does not guide the wrongdoer people.

Also "Because God granted him kingship" can also be a question. Both meanings can be understood. The alternative meaning was that "Was he so arrogant because God granted him kingship?"
I am not aware if roughly the same story is in #Torah.
