Idiot/SavantTonight, on #TheWellOfAllFear: our heroines send their friend Mr Chichester on a Dangerous Mission. He is stabbed and swears off gambling forever (oh no!) Then they solve the mystery, rescue Mr Millwood, and disrupt the cult's plans. Huzzah! #RegencyCthulhu
Anyway: starting before the adventure has given character development and depth to some of the NPCs, as well as a more natural way of uncovering some of the backstory. I'm enjoying it imensely. Though my group is very much on the "Regency" end of #RegencyCthulhu

On lit un très bon #roman policier d'Éric Fouassier sur les années 1830, période pas très éloignée de #RegencyCthulhu notamment sur l'aspect Mesmer/Sommeil magnétique mais avec un cadre politique complètement différent en France.
Et comme l'auteur fournit une bibliographie (comme le fait également @loevenbruck ) on se retrouve à commander des livres pour approfondir le sujet et voir s'il n'y a pas matière...

I really enjoyed it... Once again, maybe I should actually get myself a copy of Regency Cthulhu.
For some reason, I really like the idea of Regency Cthulhu, despite the fact that I have never had an interest in the Regency period.
