SelenaI remember there was some of the same 'this is just a small dip, nobody is really hurt, the economy will totally recover next year' propaganda in the state-media throughout 2008-2010.
But is it just me or is the denial of facts really worse in the current recession? Back then the narrative around unemployment seemed to be mostly victim-blaming ('you should learn to code') while nowadays it is just raw denial ('companies have a labor shortage, so it is impossible to be unemployed')
