I watched Rebel Moon (director's cut) and I liked it. It's too crude at moments, but it's in line with the rest of the movie. I find it good SciFi as well, with a mixture of traditional old farming practices. A weird mix for sure, but somehow it works.

After seeing Zack Snyder’s Directors Cut of Part 1 of Rebel Moon, I’m starting to think that the movies would’ve been better off as a TV series of sorts. There’s so much lore that Snyder’s trying to fit in to two movies and it’s not hitting as well as it could be.
