Trying to find out which of the #fediverse UIs give the best experience on mobile for visual content. The #Mastodon web UI on a phone is holding up well against #Pinafore, #Pleroma is surprisingly good given that I don't like the look of it on the desktop, while the #ReadAs (#WriteFreely) test failed completely.

Note that the post was a Mastodon note; each system will of course display their own posts better.

@Blort They'll still just see the post title and the URL -- blog posts get sent out as a special type that Mastodon recognizes as longer ones, so it always displays them the same way.

So this is the reason for #readas -- having a way to subscribe to and read these long posts.
