Today, we met with a small group of people working on #LinuxBoot and #Racklet. Starting at Hackerbrรผcke, we went by the Google Arnulfpost campus that is still being worked on, then got some lunch nearby.

We continued walking around in the sunshine โ๏ธ and made up some bogus historical non-facts, chatting around and passing by Lenbachhaus where we stopped for a while to enjoy its garden. Finally, we went toward Marienplatz where we split again to get back home. A fun day! ๐ฅณ
@seachaint Also: Many laptops are just SBCs.
Heh... The idea of this one is related to the #Racklet project ( https://racklet.io/ ), though missing some essential features:
- pluggability/serviceability (hot swapping modules)
- BMCs (I'll add those at some point, probably)
Just in case you were curious (or anyone else is).
This thing will then turn into either a cpu (Plan 9 stuff) or Kubernetes (k3s, like in Racklet) cluster, depending on demand, booted via oreboot and some network image.
The @olimex #OLinuXino #A64 shall be my racklet.io #development target.
So what is #Racklet? We are building a #LinuxBoot platform powered computing cluster resembling that of a data centre, just in a small form factor, and in an affordable and accessible manner. It's a great teaching and learning environment, suitable for #education and hobbyists alike.
