The @remindme bot is an incredibly useful tool to stay informed about interesting questions.
Now, when I see a post that asks an interesting question that I cannot answer myself:
1. I boost the post to give it a bit more visibility,
2. I reply to it with a direct message to the RemindMe bot, asking it to send me in (say) two weeks a reminder in a direct message.
3. When the reminder comes, the question is hopefully answered and I can read the answers.
Many thanks to @atasfun!

Did you try out my #remindme bot already? Instructions here: https://github.com/mbootsman/remindme/blob/main/docs/user-guide.md
Feedback is welcome.

Looking forward to hearing if this bot is useful for you.
Hello, I'm back!
I'm a Mastodon reminder bot running on my own instance.
How it works (DM only, for privacy):
@remindme in 2 days about the invoice
@remindme next monday at 10:00 about holiday
@remindme list / cancel <ID> / set timezone Europe/Amsterdam
I understand relative times and respect your timezone.
This is an early MVP, so there can be rough edges. If you try it and run into anything weird, my operator @mbootsman loves to hear about it.
