📢 Only 3 days left to register for the solidarity 5K to support Palestinian freedom and #PoliticalPrisoners!
➡️ Register ASAP at https://phillyabc.org/rdtw
Proceeds go directly to on-the-ground mutual aid for Palestinians struggling in the biggest mega-prison of the modern age, and to provide monthly stipends to the 13 political prisoners supported by the #ABCF Warchest program.
This is an accessible event―running is not required, and remote participation is welcome. Run, walk, roll, cheer or otherwise participate however and wherever. Since 2020 we've had remote participants from 15 states and DC, Sweden, UK, and Japan.
This is also the 25th anniversary of #RDTW. These have been taking place inside and outside of prisons across Turtle Island (and more recently across the ocean) since 1999. That's right―prisoner are running down the walls with us!
Register before the deadline (Sept. 1st) and join us on September 15th to uplift comrades behind bars, in courtrooms, and in the streets.

Running Down The Walls
❮ ❯ ALT 1 / 3 rdtw-2024.jpg Artwork that shows a side view of three Sailor moon-like characters positioned side by side in a running motion. They are all wearing black t-shirts. The character in the middle has light colored hair while the two on the outside have dark colored hair. The closest character has the Anarchist Black Cross symbol printed on the left shoulder sleeve. The symbol is a left fist clenching a piece of broken barbed wire, and the wrist is making a cross with the letters "ABC." The character furthest away is wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh. Text above image reads "Running Down The Walls." Below the image is two pieces of barbed wire with text between them that reads "Anarchist Black Cross Philly 2024." Close ALT 2 / 3 rdtw-2024-free-gaza-political-prisoners-black.jpg Drawing of three people. Two of them are running and the other is in a wheelchair, depicting that Running Down The Walls is an accessible event. The person in the wheelchair is wearing a t-shirt and has long light colored hair. The person running in front is wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh, a tank top shirt, and has long dark colored hair. The person running in the back is also wearing a tank top shirt, but has short dark colored hair. In the background is a crumbling Gaza wall with cracks and mangled barbed wire. Text surrounding the image reads "Running Down The Walls 2024. Free Gaza. Free political prisoners. Resist fascism." Close ALT 3 / 3 ben-passmore-rdtw-2024.jpg Drawing of the Gaza prison wall at night with stars shining above, and several bottles and pieces of broken wall on the ground in front. A large hole in the middle of the wall makes the shape of a person running, and the barbed wire at top is mangled to spell the words "Running Down The Walls." Remaining parts of the wall are covered in anarchist, anti-authoritarian, pro-resistance, and pro-Palestine graffiti which includes symbols of a machete, clenched fist, the "N" from the international squatters symbol, and the anarchist circle-A. Graffiti text reads "free Palestine," "free the land," "from the river to the sea," "Fanon," "FTP," and "ACAB." Drawing is by Ben Passmore.
