This is what I'm talking about. If no media is "perfect" then why does 10 have to be perfect. Why can't 10 just be really really really ridiculously good looking (but not perfect?

If you're not using 9 OR 10? Then what you want is just a five point scale. I think Five-points is the perfect rating scale. It's enough to tell me if you like it but not so much (0.0-10.0) that the number replaces your review.
