(It was of course during the reign of a later George than the one portrayed in the previous post, George VI, when the New Zealand observance of "Kings Birthday Weekend" was moved to it's present location in the calendar.)
Earlier in the week I saw a post about the poster accidentally saying "Quing's Birthday" instead of "Kings Birthday", but now I can't find it again. It might have been someone I follow, or it might have been from an NZ-related tag...
It caused my brain to spit up this image, and now that I've produced it and intend to illustrate a blog post I'd like to include that credit where it is due, so if anyone else remembers the post can you point me to it please :)
